This is my Twitter analytics for January. I got 3,650 impressions, and today I’m going to show you how you can achieve the same results (and better). So without further ado, let’s my top 5 tips that will help you.
#1 Post Often!
This is a common mistake for first-timers to Twitter. You can’t just post once and be done with it. To increase your odds of popping more on Twitter, post more! I personally recommend at least once a day. Now, that doesn’t mean you should post at a specific time and date and I actually advise from not to do that. This is because you need tweets that are natural, not forced. Whenever you are doing something just think, what if I post this on Twitter? If you find anything interesting to post, well then post it. Trust me, you won’t regret it. If your ideas are natural, then you will succeed even better than if you forced the ideas. It should just pop up, even in the middle of the night you might think of an idea which just might blow up.
#2 Add Pictures/Videos
Even Twitter recommends this, add something that viewers can engage with. Twitter research showed that adding things like photos is more successful. Even though the Twitter algorithm is locked behind closed doors, I’m sure this would benefit you inside the algorithm.
#3 Use The Currently Trending Hashtags In Your Tweets
#usehashtags Seriously! At first glance, you may ask yourself, “Vlad, what’s the point of hashtags?”. And I have just the answer, you see when someone searches that current hashtag on Twitter, the most recent tweets with that hashtag used will popup. No matter what popularity level your Twitter is at. This personally helped me get a ton of impressions after trying numerous times.
#4 Follow Twitter’s Terms and Conditions
Now sure, this may seem quite obvious although I want to point out that you should always be following all guidelines, terms and conditions. Seriously, do you really want yourself to be deleted from the platform?
#5 Post Quality Content
Yes, I did say to post often although you should also consider the quality of your tweets. This helps with retention and maybe you might even get re-tweeted!
If you are determined and use these strategies for at least 3 months, I promise you that you will start to see growth. I personally started on Twitter not even knowing about any tips on growing my profile and I wish going back, I knew these tips and tricks earlier. As always, thank you for reading and if you ever have any questions or concerns, please do contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will reply as soon as I can.
See you next time, bye!
